Mindfulness ✪
To be conscious or aware of something
Been in a huge minimizing and de-cluttering phase and it is wild what a positive effect this has.
Prompt for you: what can I de-clutter physically or emotionally to find more ease and simplicity?

If you're concerned about longevity, you should consider training like an athlete.
Even if you're not competing for the Stanley Cup or breaking world records, the components of athleticism do carry over into your every day life.
Let's take a look at how these 4 training goals of athletes matter for your longevity: Strength, Power, Hypertrophy, Muscular Endurance.
Strength is pretty self-explanatory. Even if you hire movers, you'll still find situations where you have to lift something heavy like if you're rearranging furniture, carrying groceries, or putting a suitcase in the overhead bin.
Power training you can think of power like throwing, jumping, sprinting. Again, even if you don't plan to be doing those primal movements you may find yourself in a situation in which you do these movements and if you're not training that way you can more easily pull a muscle because you're putting a demand on your body that it's not used to. Power training has also helped me stay more injury resistant because you're asking your muscle fibers to recruit quickly and forcefully which we actually do more than you realize in your everyday life like when we unexpectedly trip and catch ourselves.
Hypertrophy is training to increase muscle size. Hypertrophy differs from Strength, because Strength is about force production with low reps, heavy weight, and slower speed. Hypertrophy is moderate reps, moderate weight, and moderate speed which is a specific stimulus to get bigger muscles. And the bigger our muscles get the more they help burn our fat and keep us lean.
Muscular endurance is low weight, high reps, long period of time or being able to lift lighter weights for a long amount of time. Carrying luggage throughout an airport is another great example of muscular endurance.
I'll continue to go more into depth, but the TL;DR is that there are specific ways to train to stimulate your body for certain outcomes and aspects of athleticism. Even though they may seem similar or you don't think you need to prioritize all of them, by strategically and properly training for a variety of components of athleticism you'll find you're able to move more easily through life; you'll be more resilient; and your body becomes more capable to execute whatever demand is put on it.
