Mindfulness ✪
To be conscious or aware of something
I’m an “endless summer” kind of gal and love lazy summer days. However, I also feel like summer is such a productive time because the weather allows us to get a lot done. If you don’t like summer weather it gives you an excuse to be inside and if you love summer weather like me it gives you an excuse to accomplish things you can’t otherwise accomplish the rest of the year.
This week’s mindfulness exercise is to consider what is one thing you want to accomplish this summer? Maybe it’s to start meditating and develop a rejuvenation routine, maybe it’s to go on a walk every day, maybe it’s to eat fruits once a day, maybe it’s to drink more water, maybe it’s to read a book (I tend to only read in the summers because I’m poolside so often).
It doesn’t have to be an enormous feat, but let’s make the most of summer. Pick one, simple healthy habit to implement or goal to accomplish & make a game plan. 😎
Mentionable ✪
Refer to something briefly without going into detail. Important or noteworthy, memorable
Leading up to Memorial Day, I published my 2023 Summer Staples Groceries to round out May’s “My Favorite Things” series as well as kick off summertime and I’m still super pumped about it. Shameless plug to check it out because I included rationales + additional articles for why the items made my top 10 list that I pretty much always have on hand/pick up at the grocery store. You can mix & match these items easily while hitting key nutritional bases, plus if you’re like me and hate grocery shopping this keeps your trips efficient.
Motivation ✪
Meant to inspire: being mentally stimulated to do or feel something
