Mindfulness ✪
To be conscious or aware of something
James Clear shared this prompt in one of his newsletters and I think it's worth reflecting on: "When you wake up, do you expect today to have many joys or many frustrations?"

Refer to something briefly without going into detail. Important or noteworthy, memorable
In my injury recovery, one of my biggest takeaways that I'd recommend to anyone limited by an injury or some other setback is: to cross train.
Cross training is "engaging in two or more sports or types of exercise in order to improve fitness or performance in one's main sport".
Often, runners consider cross-training to be biking or swimming.
However, I widen this scope to basically finding an alternative to train.
For example, while I worked on my hip injury rehab I simultaneously focused on improving my pull ups. The results are paying off in a couple ways in that I allowed my hip to heal as well as get more pull ups. My IT band in my right knee has been acting up again a couple miles into my run, so I've made sure to up my cross training with HYROX style conditioning to work my muscles without the impact and pounding of running as well as work on my cardio conditioning.
Rarely do we have to take ourselves out of the game entirely. Stay in motion and keep your momentum by finding an alternative.
